A safe walk, that people with visibility defects or the blind can follow on their own.

At Amelie les Bains, work has been done to make access available for people who have difficulties in seeing or who are blind to a site in the middle of nature.  The use of innovative equipment which accompanies the walker throughout, secures the person at all times so that they can enjoy the walk on their own.

How does it work?

The trail has been equipped with a GPS system; thanks to an earpiece, the walker receives a sound commentary when he/she reaches a point of interest.  Moreover, the walker disposes of a telephone link and is followed by an operator with a GPS link via mobile.
