The Arago laboratory, located in Languedoc-Roussillon for over 125 years, has largely contributed to the exploration and knowledge of earth and marine biodiversity. More than 50 000 visitors per year come from all over the world to visit it.

This 3 hectare park, situated in the heights of Banyuls-sur-mer, offers you an agreable moment of relaxation and discovery. Suspended above the valley of Baillaury, this is an original visit which gives you an exceptional view of the inland country of Banyuls. The garden benefits from a very mild micro-climate, which is particularly suited to the varied Mediterranean flora and fauna. This is run in an ecological way today, with the emphasis put on saving water as much as possible and preserving the environment by not using any chemical products.

This historical aquarium invites you to plunge into a moment of discovery of the marine biodiversity of the Pyrenees-Orientales, with its 40 tanks with over 200 species.
