Discovering natural snails

Nestled at the foot of the Canigou, the snail farm is operated by Stéphane and Nathalie Ferrat. They offer you to discover their farming following a schedule of natural conditions (sustainable agriculture). They will make you taste the cargolade and answer during the visit of their facilities to any questions you may have on the life of the snail.

A local product 100% natural

A little history: the creation of farming in 2003, with live sales only. In 2004, sales of cooked snails. In 2008, opening the farm to visitors, initiation and tasting of the farm products, preparing grilled meat, designing sales booth. In 2009, creation of food laboratory.

Guided tours by appointment (at 10h, 15h or, in summer, 17h - guided tour in English and Spanish)
