A wide range of Catalan local flavors beers
The brewery produces traditional beer (white, blonde, amber) or flavored with local flavors Catalan (Banyuls, Muscat, rosemary ...), as well as soft drinks: lemonade and artisanal Alter Cola.
Crowned "Best craft beer"in 2009
The Cape d’Ona Amber has been voted best French craft beer in 2009 and has become a silver medal in the agricultural show in Paris. This beer is produced in Roussillon since 1999 and is an ancestral family tradition for the young and dynamic Cape Ona boss, Gregor Engler, (originally from Lorraine). On-site, the visit is Friday and Saturday, to understand the different phases of production, from the malt mill to the bottling. A atypical production of moreover well assertive southern flavors, including beers with Banyuls (bronze medal 2010) and Muscat de Rivesaltes !
To taste too: Alter Cola, Lemonade, and then Christmas and Spring craft beer (Silver medal 2010). Available in supermarket and in hotels/restaurants in French and Spanish Catalonia.
Company visit: presentation of the place and the manufacturing processes. Product presentation and tasting - a tour on Friday at 9am, 10.30, 14.30 and 4pm. Saturday at 10:30 - Duration of tour: 45 minutes (without tasting and shop).
Public allowed: individual and groups (maximum 20 people), on reservation
Fee: Individual € 2 - children 1 € - Group: 1 € (visit pay back when purchasing from 20 € upwards in the shop)
