A masterpiece of Baroque art in the Pryenees-Orientales.
 

The principal notable monument  in the town of Prades, it was built in the 17th century on the site of a Romanesque church of which the bell tower remains.  The most beautiful part of the building can be found inside in its baroque altar pieces.  A real masterpiece from the Catalan sculptor Josep Sunyer, this baroque altar piece, finished in 1699 has the reputation of being one of the largest in France.
