Seaside resorts

From Port-Barcarès to the Spanish border and its famous Cape Creus, the coast stretches over 60 kilometers.

Firstly, the sandy beaches

The coast is primarily sandy. It's "La Marenda": long sandy beaches lined with reeds attached to the dunes, footprints of wild solitude. Fishing huts built of reeds bordering the ponds of Salses and Canet-Saint-

Nazaire
.

Along the coast you find the beach resorts of Barcarès Torreilles, Sainte-Marie, Canet-en-Roussillon, St Cyprien, Argeles-sur-Mer.

These stations have also marinas:
the sailor has a choice between Port Barcarès, Sainte-Marie, Canet-en-Roussillon, St Cyprien, Argeles-sur-Mer.

The tourists come to enjoy the softness of the Mediterranean Sea in hotel, rental, or camping.

And then on to Spain.

The famous vintage wines of Collioure and Banyuls, there, clinging to the hillsides.

Next, the creeks and their crystal clear waters

As the Pyrenees meet the Mediterranean, the coast becomes rocky; this is the « Rocky Coast ».  Here you will find the creeks with such transparent water filled with fish. Seaside resorts and small picturesque

pleasure harbors shelter in the creeks.

The most famous is Collioure,
